  Stayed there 10/1/2009 - 10/5/2009 Looks nice from the outside, in hotel row along the side of I-27 and South Loop 289. Not a great location but ok, you will need a rental car to get anywhere. When we first stepped into the place we noticed the people hanging out there were not from the cream of society but at th every low end of the scale. We did not feel safe. We were greeted kindly from the desk and everything was set-up for us as advertised. We received our card keys and started walking to the room and a waft of pot smoke smell was lingering everywhere as well as the chlorine from the pool. The inside looks like it used to be an old hotel that was outside and they roofed over the swimming pool area and built an office area and reception desk. We get to the room and notice everything is run down and looks very old. Paint is soiled and chipping everywhere and concrete flooring is very uneven and dangerous. Bathroom was moldy and tiles chipped all over. Bed was very used and not very comfortable. Cleaning staff never replenished the cups, coffee or all the towels daily. Terrible place to stay even for a day.
