  I went to the Radisson in Nashville with high hopes, having been there in the past while under different managment. But I'm afraid that I have to report that out of the 30 or so hotel rooms I've stayed in this las year, the Radisson Hotel Opryland ranks dead last. The room reservation was not honored. The Staff made it seem like an imposition to work anyone who approached the front desk. The room smelled of mildew. Our room was close to the delivery area and the dumpster. And industrial vehicles pulled through there very loudly all night. I won't make that mistake twice!

  Hotel was a big letdown. Should have been extremely nice for price but wasn't. Had stayed in a Comfort Inn the night before that was more luxourious. Rooms were clean but small. Very few TV channels. Coffee pot didn't work - called downstairs and they said they were sending one up - that was 45 minutes later. Will never ever stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone. Inside hotel and atrium smelled like chlorine. It was terrible.

  The room was only OK except for the tiny bathroom. It was clean but the main complaint was lack of soundproofing in the room.The traffic noise had us frequently checking to see if the window was open. I spoke to someone else who had a room on the inside facing the atrium and they were bothered by noise from meetings in the public areas. Also the entire public areas smelled of chlorine from the pool. We came back to our room late in the morning to find the door left open. The houskeeper said she didn't have a key so she had to have someone come and open several rooms at once so she could get in to clean them.

  My husband & I drove to Nashville from St. John's, Newfoundland Canada in August 2007. The hotel was recommended by friends and it was everything they described and more. The hotel staff were very friendly and the restaurant was great. We were also pleasantly surprised with the complimentary transportation to and from Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Show Boat, etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan on returning to Nashville in 2009 with four other couple.

  Very overpriced for the room quality, could have done better at Motel 8. The room felt damp, ventilation is poor. Very minimal cable service. Inside rooms are are subjected to strong chlorine smell from indoor pool.D.
