  This was my first stay at a Microtel. It was totally enjoyable. Although just off I-20, the room was quite. The room was large and clean. Good lighting in bathroom. Has washer and dryer. The hotel has indoor corridors but no elevators. Breakfast was pretty weak. Very good value. Will stay there again when in Longview.

  A group of 10 of us stayed here while traveling thru to southern Texas. The facility is very nice and clean. We loved the palm trees at the winding front driveway;we don't have palm trees back home;. The front desk clerks were very helpful and friendly, and the rate was very reasonable. And the place was quiet in the evening. There aren't many places to eat within walking distance, but I would recommend the Texas Smokehouse across the road. Yes, it's a convenience store/gas station, but a super-deluxe one, with a bakery, liquor store and excellent Texas BBQ restaurant inside. They even bus your tables when you are finished eating. The staff there was VERY friendly. Try it

  We took 5 kids to a bowling tournament in Longview. We had to get two rooms so we were looking more at price than luxury. We were pleasantly surprised. Microtel is not the Ritz, so don't go there with that idea. But it was clean and the beds were super comfortable. There were small incidents like the A/C didn't cool real well the first night, but we talked to the front desk and it was looked at immediately and fixed. The water pressure in the shower was not as strong as we would have liked, but it got the job done. Overall, it was a nice stay.

  Had to come to Longview on business over July 4th weekend. All hotels in the area were full except this one, My family and I both loved the suite we stayed in, and they took full advantage of the pool and exercise room while I was attending to my meetings. The staff was friendly and very attentive to my family's needs. I will definitely stay here again on my return trips to the area.
