  I was very pleased with the Days Inn in Childress, TX. It apparently is a fairly new motel. Every thing was clean. Rates were good. I plan to stay there again.

  First impression, the counter clerk was nice.we had to ask how to get to our room, what time was breakfast, where should we park for the night.the room ...

  First Impression, the counter clerk was nice.We had to ask how to get to our room, what time was breakfast, where should we park for the night.The room was musty, but we got "used" to it after awhile. the remote control would not work properly. At least the bathroom was clean. The pillows seemed fresh & clean. the a/c was not working properly. the microwave was on a chair & because the chair was pillowtop it was not sitting level.Yes, i may be nit-picking, but you should set a standard for yourself & family. Breakfast was okay. Coffee, OJ, & Apple juice were all watered down. Milk was fresh. Waffles were good. Although, waffle maker had not been cleaned. Yes, I was the first to use waffle maker that morning. Tables had not been wiped down. Cereal was crisp. Free USA Today. Windows were dirty. Floor was sticky. Chairs were very much stained, dirty, & torn. Breakfast area just really needed some attention to detail in cleaning. We stayed here because we had a great experience at the Days Inn in Amarillo, TX. Overall Value: Good. With Military Discount paid $* plus taxes/fees for 1 night. Next time we'll try a different Inn.
