  This place was nice, the staff wonderful!! the pool tile was dirty and the jacuzzi was not working. we had a room w/2 dbl beds..2 adults 2 kids ...

  This place was nice, the staff wonderful!! The pool tile was dirty and the jacuzzi was not working. We had a room w/2 dbl beds..2 adults 2 kids so with that many people the room was a bit small but decorated very nice and clean. The breakfast was good.The parking great. Would definately stay again. We stayed 6 days.

  This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was freindly, the hotel was clean, the rooms were very nice and charming. They made me feel right at home and very special. I have been telling all my freinds about my stay. The breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, all kinds of cereals, great coffee and the most amazing Cinnabbons I have ever had. When we came down for breakfast the aroma of the heated Cinabbons made my mouth water, could not wait for the next day to have breakfast again. Highly recommend this jewel of a hotel to everyone...has a great exercise room with great new machines to work out on and also an amazing gift shop with all kinds of great treats... i had heard about there gift shop from everyone who ever stayed here....

  Stayed here 2 weeks ago, the service is impeccable. The staff were amazing, the rooms were excellent! The management really cares about making you feel comfortable and pampered. We came down a bit late for breafast and the staff asked us what we wanted and brought us everything we asked for and then some. They have a great little gift shop with everything you might need. The manager is amazing! The rooms are spacious and clean, the lobby is charming and homey. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.... can't wait to go back...

  I would not want to stay there again, They had a major problem with mold and the staff was very rude. I checked in to the hotel room around 5:00PM and the room they assigned me was not even cleaned and the bed was not made up yet. I called the from desk and they told me the housekeeping staff had already gone for the day and there was no other room for me to move to, I asked them to refund my fee for the night so I could go and stay somewhere else but they would not allow me to leave. Instead they gave me few sheets and asked me to make the bed. I didn't know you have to make your own bed when you check into a hotel. I'm not happy with this hotel and would have rater stayed somewhere nicer and at least a clean room. I paid a lot of $$$$$ for there room for one night. I will contact the Holiday Inn Express corp. and let them know my experience with this property. On the way out I noticed a new Hotel across the freeway. I think I was the Hampton Inn and Suites. I stopped by and what a great looking hotel and their pool is amazing. They showed me a room and it very big and the decor in it is also very top class. I asked for their rate and it was actually a lot lower then the Holiday Inn Express in Boerne.

• Worst hotel ever

  my reservation was for a non smoking room which I did not receive. Rooms are in very poor condition, not much of a selection for breakfast items, parking lot was as dark as a back alley, and these people have never heard of customer service. They would not even let me check out to stay at another hotel after the fact that they put me in a smoking room. I will never stay here again I would rather be at the local camp grounds
