    It was a good hotel for the price. The room wasn't very big and there was no fridge. The view from the window was nice. The cleanliness was okay. The staff was nice. However they were out of non-smoking rooms when we were checking in so we had to stay in a smoking room even though we booked a non-smoking. At least there wasn't that much of a smell. I might consider staying there again for my next trip.

    Traveling with kids (8y, 5y and 18m) a pool may really help to relax them and obtain a quieter night and more cooperation. The pool is suppose to close at 8PM (already too early!) and when we came back from the Metropolitan at 6.30 to enjoy it before dinner... it was closed! We were told: The life guard isn't here so the pool is close! Cheap, ($* per night) but the value was lower. The help desk didn't help! They do not have idea how/if the business center work, no map of the area... I asked few things, the only positive result was to have the two rooms on the same floor. BTW We did not feel really safe waking around in the evening.

    My girlfiend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Laguardia over the New Years Holiday. I was very impressed with the hotel itself. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant was excellent. I did however think the area around the hotel was questionable. We walked to the subway station with no problems to speak of but the homes had bars on the doors/windows and the people were a bit shady. If I ever went to NY again, I'd rather stay in Manhattan but this hotel was good for the price. New Years in Times Square was the highlight of this trip!!
