  stayed in late setpember 09. the fireplace had to be fixed 4 times in two days, the indoor pool was not clean, bathroom door hard to open and close, shower water never got hot after running 10 min, carpet stained, walls thin (cheep build), could here everything in other rooms. For the money that was paid was totaly disapointed. Will not stay again. The plus side the staff friendly.

  Will Not Stay Again.... a big rip-off for the money room: (1) had to have gas fireplace fixed 4 times in 2 day stay. (2) carpet very stained and wore out. (3) taking shower a joke water would never get hot after letting run for 10 mins. or longer. (4) bathroom door rubbed floor hard to use. (5) blinds broke on balcony doors: shabby bad. (6) walls and ceilings thin could hear everything going on. cheap built. (7) king bed very unconfortable - wore out. (8) maid service bad only made bed and left towls - Did Not vacum, empty trash or ash trays, dust, or leave coffee or cups. Had to go to front desk for things needed. (9) indoor pool area nice - but pool cloudy looking would not use - rained could not use outdoor pool. (10) Staff very friendly and helpful to little needs; but NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

  My family and I have stayed at this motel on several ocassions, and have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms we have stayed in were very nice and clean. Our last trip was scheduled for Sept 25th 2009 we reserved (3) rooms in the tower. Due to a family emergency we unfortunately had to cancel. I called 2 weeks prior to our arrival and spoke with Mindy who by the way was extremely friendly and concerned that we had to cancel because of an emergency. I will definately continue to stay at Smoky Shadow my family enjoys this establishment.

  my husband and i came to pigeon forge just for a get away, we stayed here the last night, we wish we had stayed all three nights. the room was awesome the staff was very nice and polite. the pools were great loved the in door pool, loved the jacuzzi and we do definitely plan on staying again. we give them a 5 star

  I thought my room was very nice. I was really worried after reading some of the reviews but it was really nice. The man that checked me in was very friendly. For what I paid I couldnt have ask for anything better. Only complaint I have is the size of the pools. Need to upsize for the number of rooms they have. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. I will stay again in the future.
