  Sorry but the other reviews were right on how bad this place was. We had non smoking room but everywhere smelled like smoke and even cigarette burns on the fiberglass bathtub. Everything was dirty and smelly. No rollaways were ever available. No locks on any exterior doors so anyone can get in. Two inch gap at bottom of doors let you here everything going on in hallway. Heater in room turned on and off every minute and sounded like a jet airplane. Don't stay here even if it is the only option!!!

  First of all, Friday nights are very hard to find reservations in Grand Forks year round, because a lot of Canadians come down for the weekends. Even though we made reservations weeks in advance, we had very few choices. We chose this hotel because we had stayed at another Settle Inn elsewhere and were satisfied. This Settle Inn in Grand Forks is much more run down. The shower had mold, the counter top by the sink had a chip/hole in it, and the caulk above the sink was yellow with age. We were thankful we only had to stay there one night. Other than the above conditions, the room seemed clean, the few staff we had conversation with were fine, and the breakfast--though meager--was adequate.

  The toilet was leaking across the bathroom floor. the sink was barely hanging on the wall. the room was not clean. some one had either vomitted or bled down the ...

  The toilet was leaking across the bathroom floor. The sink was barely hanging on the wall. The room was not clean. Some one had either vomitted or bled down the side of one of the beds. It had been cleaned off but was badly stained. The staff was not very rude, they just did not want to be there. Forget breakfast. The doors into the building looked like someone tried to rip them off. This place should be closed.

  everything about this place is wrong. From the pool that was closed for a week before I got there, to the time I checked out. Rude staff, the amenities that they claim to have are lacking severely and there is absolutely nothing nearby. Do NOT waste your time or money by going here.

  This is the best place to stay in Grand Forks by far! The most reasonably priced hotel with a pool and a continental breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff. Newly remodeled, repaved parking lot, this property is improving by leaps and bounds! We had an excellent stay!
