  The hotel was very nice. We got a room with a hot tub in it and the picture showed it in the actual room when we got there we found out it was in the bathroom which sucked. Also we got stuck next to a hotel party from some college kids, we were placed with the option of "conjoint rooms" so every time they would leave our door would slam shut too. At 2 in the morning thats not the best sound. Other then that it was very nice and clean and the staff was great as well. I would definitely stay there again.

  My wife and I stayed here for the 2 nights for Parents weekend at Hartwick College where our daughter is attending.We found the hotel to be a great place to stay as it was very close to school. We did not use any facilities this trip as we were to involved at Hartwick.The room was very clean and also comfortable.We do wish that they had queen beds instead of doubles.We will stay again.

  We stayed during my son's baseball camp and we loved this hotel. The staff was very informative and helpful. We could walk to shops, movies, dining. The room was very comfortable. The beds were heaven. We could get wireless internet in the room. The kids could swim in the pool and the breakfast food was great. We hope to stay here again next summer.

  I visit Oneonta frequently and have stayed at 4 or 5 differnt hotels. This is the best location for visiting SUNY Oneonta, Hartwick College & Soccer Hall of Fame. It's right downtown with walking access to great restaurants (Oneonta has surprisingly good restaurants for it's size). However, this and ALL the area hotels are often filled with High School Soccer & Baseball teams (it's 20 minutes from Cooperstown), and these kids have little or no manners or consideration. Some of the "chaperones" are even worse; they spend their time boozing it up at the bar while the kids run amok up and down the hallways until 2 am. I always suggest to the managers that they reserve a quiet floor and enforce noise limits, but as usual it's all about the money and they could care less about YOUR business. The best you can do is complain and ask for a discount or a free stay next visit. The Clarion gave me $* off the $* rate; whoopdeedo! The only alternative is to stay far away like Binghampton or Albany, but that's not paractical. So bring your earplugs and if you get up early, stomp down the hall and wake up the overhung chaperones :)

  My family stayed at the Clarion Hotel and we loved it. The room was beautiful and very spacious. We had a living room area to relax. The kids liked the pool. It was close to everything we were doing, visiting the soccor hall, shopping, movies, and an easy drive to Cooperstown. The staff was great, very helpful and informative
