  I picked this motel because it was the closest to McKesson, where I went for software training. It also advertised a kitchenette, and it was the least expensive in the area. I didn't rent a car because they advertised a shuttle service within 3 miles and McKesson was about a half mile away. They also advertised a breakfast bar in the morning. The breakfast bar was donuts in an employee break room, of which, there was only one donut left every morning I was there (Tues-Fri). The ""shuttle"" was Rodrigo the young maintenance guy driving me in his very small, old, trashed out(literally, you had to kick the trash around to make room for your feet) car to and from McKesson ONLY. I had to walk two miles to get groceries on the first night. There is a Hooters Restaurant that is about a quarter of a mile away, and a Cajun restaurant that is reasonably close. The kitchenette is two small electric burners and a small sink where you are 'required' to wash your own dishes. The refrigerator is full sized. The room, bed and furniture were old and worn. The maid did the bed every day, but did not clean up the room. When I arrived, I had less than half a roll of toilet paper, and wound up stealing some from a public restroom later in the week. I recommend paying a little extra for the Homewood Suites. The other people in the class enjoyed their stay there. It has a shuttle service and a full breakfast bar with eggs, gravy, and etc. One night after class their shuttle service took me to my motel for free.

  So, my friends and I walked into the room and we were excited to see the quality of the room. It had a refridgerator, stove, sink in the kitchen area. The bathroom was big and the room looked nice. We noticed that the actual price of the room was $90 a night, but here on Travel online we got it for about $46 with tax. Again, we were really excited...until we realized that out refrigerator didn't work. Nor did our stove. And the bathtub was dirty. Then we wanted to get ice to keep out drinks cold...well there was 1 ice machine in the whole hotel...and no buckets to be found...they offered to move us to another room. When my friend went down in search of ice buckets he heard 3 other guests complaining about faulty equipment in their rooms. I guess $90 a night gets you a broked refridgerator, broken microwave etc... I'm glad we only spent $46 dollars for our one night stay.

  Excellent value for money. beds need new pillows, pillows are completely flat. we had no cleaning service while we were there and had to call the front desk for towels ...

  Excellent Value for Money. Beds need new pillows, pillows are completely flat. We had no cleaning service while we were there and had to call the front desk for towels and toilet tissue. There was a problem with the printer and the staff was unable to print a receipt at checkout. Despite problems still a good place to stay for a few nights.

  Room was clean and comfortable; the kitchenette was a nice convenience. The decor was dated but in good condition. Easy on/off from I-35. Staff were very helpful. If you need a clean, no frills, functional hotel room at a good price, I would recommend.
