  The Hotel was excellent, rooms where great. We booked 2 rooms and both we great. Only problem I have is the travel website had a mark up vs hotel price. I did not find this out until I checked out and the manager handed me a bill with total charges. I was charged by the travel wbesite and the bill from hotel was . I asked manager what their normal rate was and he stated plus fees. This site showed plus fees. I will never book through this site again.

  The staff was horrible. If you have any problems, there is no need asking for anything. There is no customer service. They don't care about making sure their guests are happy. There is no early check-in, even if your room is clean. Check-in is at 3pm, no exceptions, and then everyone arrives back at 3 and there is a line. I wanted to complain to the manager, but he was not there. I was given his voicemail, and he never returned my call. I could go on and on about other problems, but not even worth my time. I will never stay there again.

  My new wife booked this hotel for our honeymoon. This hotel is supposed to be one of the newest/remodeld hotel in Galveston. Tried to update the room since it was our honeymoon, but the desk manager said there were no rooms available, but if we stayed another day he would see about what he could do then. We got to the room and soon noticed that the wallpaper border had come down and was moldy. Wife went into the bathroom and the wall above the bathtub was covered with black mold. Went to the desk manager and told him about the molding. He then asked if we wanted another room for our stay. (Thought none were available??) Told him to forget it and we wanted a complete refund. He cancelled our charges and didn't seem to care that what we had complained about. Will not stay there again.

  We are still trying to undo the damage the staff did! The staff totally messed up the charges, and tried to double charge us for the room. Check in took 10-15 minutes (because they couldnt figure out how to add up the charges), and check out took another 10 minutes (again the same problem).The staff was rude, untrained, and unhelpful. The rooms were fairly clean. The best and only good thing about this hotel was it good location (its accross from the beach but in a central location). The breakfast was included but was not great. There was only one waffle maker that took 2-3 minutes per waffle, so there was a line of about 10 or so minutes. There is a fridge in the room and a microwave (the fridge didnt get very cold).

  We had a nice time staying in a suite here. lots of room and nice amenities. only slight problem was the parking at night.
