  My husband and 10 year old son and I stayed here while in town for a family wedding. The hotel is impeccably restored and the staff is extremely helpful. The rooms were very quiet (sometimes with older hotels this can be a concern for me). I prefer to stay at boutique style hotels and this property did not disappoint. An incredible value for the price we paid. I'm not sure why it is rated as a 3 star property - I would personally rate it at 4. Thank you to the staff for your top rate service to myself and my family! The only criticism I would offer is that unloading/checking in can be a bit tricky (there isn't a valet area) so call ahead and ask the staff how best to unload your luggage. There is secure/lighted parking behind the hotel but it's a bit of a walk with your luggage.

  We spent our 22nd anniversary here & were delighted. The hotel was charming & we got a special pkg which incl champagne, chocolates & a couple of drinks. Very reasonably priced & the rooms were spacious, clean & well appointed. The bathroom was very nice with dual shower heads & a nice comfy robe. We would absolutely stay again!
