  I stayed 6 nights and i really enjoyed the experience. the young man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. i am looking forward to a return visit.

  I have stayed at this hotel before and I have always enjoyed it. I think it is the most reasonably priced of the historic inns on Broadway and has a great location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rooms are pleasantly appointed and comfortable, and the amenities such as soaps and shampoos are of especially high quality. We did not have dinner there, but a free buffet breakfast is included for all overnight guests and I must say the food we had last weekend was delicious. We have had a lot of experience with the breakfasts included with hotel stays and this outclassed most of them, at least the ones in this country. The baked goods especially were a treat. Delicious apple bread and a rich chocolate chip coffee cake were standouts.

  We recently stayed at The Inn at Saratoga for a romantic weekend get-a-way. The Inn at Saratoga appealed to us because: 1. The hotel is smoke free 2. They're located on Broadway (within walking distance of all the boutiques and restaurants) 3. We were quoted the best price 4. The building has great history; original Victorian architecture had been preserved in its maintenance. Overall; I will say that the hotel was lovely, the rooms of decent quality, the food was great, and I adored the bicycles up front - they added a nice touch of whimsy. Unfortunately, while the majority of the staff was courteous and polite, it took just one person to single handedly destroy any possibility of us wanting to return or recommend this establishment to anyone. At check out we informed the front desk that our bill read $130 a night although we had previously reserved the room at $119 a night a month in advance. We were then quite aggressively approached by a women (whom I later learn is a Manager) who states that they don't 'offer rooms at $119 a night' that their rooms are $150 a night. Long story short, she tells us that she will honor nothing less than $130, turns on her heel, walks 10 feet away to sit at her desk, then turns her back to us to continue on with some angry phone conversation that she had previously been on. Classy. Needless to say, rather than create a scene with this unreasonable and highly detestable person, we chose to walk away from the measly $22 and simply enjoy the rest of our trip. We will continue to visit Saratoga Springs for weekend fun, but will not return to this hotel.
