  Christmas 2008 My son (12) and I stayed at Jolly Madison Towers for two nights. The hotel was immaculate, staff friendly and helpful, our room was very nice and the price was great! The hotel is steps away from most downtown attractions. My only complaint would be the very pricey continental breakfast which we avoided easily by eating at the reasonably priced diner across the street. Have already recommended to friends and would definately stay again.

  Our two days in this hotel were very nice. No outside noises, perfect cleaning, excelent staff.
  Three things: the air-conditioning is too noisy; shower was hard to use (10 minutes to get hot water) and hotel breakfeast is too expensive - but this has an easy solution, you just need to cross the street to have better breakfeast for much less money. The cab from the Hotel to Central Park South was only US * so you can get the idea of how good is the location.

  Took my girlfriend for her birthday and also proposed at the top of empire state building which we could see from our hotel window.

  My room wasn't ready until 5:30pm; I wasn't offered a comfortable place to wait or store my luggage. Not only did I not receive an apology, I was treated very rudely. I was also billed incorrectly (truthfully, I think it's overpriced, even for NYC). While I am sure this is an isolated incident, I would not stay again.
