  This hotel is a no-smoking only hotel. They will not let you know that when you (or your travel agent) book the room. Then, if you arrive after the cancellation time , discover that there aren't smoking rooms and refuse the room, you will be charged for the room anyway after dealing with a very unsympathetic front desk staff....BEWARE! The Comfort Inn is much better.

  Everything about our stay was acceptable. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to park in the hotel's free lot. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff was very friendly. This isn't a spectacular luxury hotel but we knew it wasn't when we booked it. The best part is it is in a great downtown location--directly across the street from the Jamestown Ice Arena and within walking distance of Lucy-Desi, Reg Lenna Theatre, bars and restaurants. Great choice if you want to have a drink or two because you can just park the car and walk!

  I visit Jamestown frequently, but this is the first time I have stayed at the Best Western. I thought that it would be in better shape since it is only a few years old. The parking lot was not kept clear of snow and ice. The pool had been emptied the day we got there so it was closed for most of my stay. Although it was eventually refilled, the temperature was way too cold for swimming.
  
  THe fitness center was a very cramped room with a bike, treadmill, elliptical and a small weight machine. The temperature was set to about 80 degrees, which is much too warm for a workout center.
  
  The "business center" is a tiny little room with a computer. If someone is already using the one computer, you are out of luck.
  
  I did not have any maid service during my stay. I left the room for almost the whole day on Saturday and it hadn't been touched by the time I returned that evening.
  
  The security in the hotel is questionable. It seems that anyone can just walk in from the street and not be asked a single question. Half the time there wasn't even anyone at the front desk to notice.
  
  This certainly won't be my first choice of hotel, but I would be willing to give it a second chance. It was the holiday season (although the hotel seemed to be quite empty) so maybe things were a little off. It's not terrible...but it's not a great value either. Next time I will look elsewhere for a place to stay.
  
  The location however was ideal!

  THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WHILE VISITING FAMILY. ALSO GREAT SWIMMING FOR CHILDREN&PARENTS
