  Thank you for making our recent stay at the Skytop so accomodation. I was impressed wit the rooms and the new bathrooms. The price was great along with the location. I will definitely recommend the Skytop and plan to stay there again on future travels to NY. It was nice to find such a great value when most motels are raising rates and have lower service quality. Thank you again.

  I would like to say how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Skytop last summer, we were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful improvements you have made since our last visit in 2004, in particular the restaurant, room decor, and the bathrooms. We found the reception staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Our return to the area was to visit friends we made and to see more of the history of the town especially the mansions in Hyde Park. We have recommended our friends stay with you if their trip to the U.S. brings them near Kingston later this year. It was our chat with them that inspired us to email you. Once again thank you for a comfortable and relaxed stay.

  The motel was ok, good for the price, and very convenient to find and to the area visited.The improvements could still be made, the walls in the room were spackled around the door (looked new install) and the ceiling where a light fixture was removed. Overall, it was clean and pleasant for the night stay.I would avoid the attached ""Steakhouse"" restaurant. I ordered their ""Weekend special, stuffed lobster for 24.95"", and it was dry and nasty. Other platters ordered in our party were dry and not cooked well. I would search for a place in Kingston that might serve better food.

  I booked this hotel for my family and it was horrible. The walls had plaster patches with no paint, one of the lamps was inoperable. The bathroom had not been cleaned and the toilet was plugged up. When my husband complained, he was handed a plunger! (He insisted that the attendant fix it.) The rugs were filthy. Unfortunately, we had already paid full price for the hotel, so they stayed.
