  My 8 yr old son and I stayed here when we visited my daughter at SUNY. The hotel was very clean, the bedding was great. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only negatives I have are that the refrigerator made a very loud clicking noise off and on all night that woke me up. Additionally our entry door had to be shut very hard in order to shut. The pool was nice, very quiet, we were the only ones in there, but the water was way too warm.

  Most evenings the hotel offers a free dessert buffet in the lobby -- miniature cream puffs, cookie bars, petit fours, etc. It adds extra value to the already good value for which Hampton is known. The breakfast attendant was especially attentive about keeping items replenished. The other bonus amenity -- a DVD player in the room and free loaner DVD's at the front desk -- turned out to be a disappointment because all the free movies were so old.
  
  There were two items in our room that could use improvement: the carpet needed to be shampooed, and my husband thought the 1 cup coffee maker was useless.

  Had my worries about staying in such a small town, but once I checked into this hotel, all my fears were dispelled. The room was clean and of a good size. The front desk was extremely kind and allowed us to borrow 6 movies from their library. She even helped get us a military discount at the last minute and was very accommodating. From this stay, I now have a preference of staying in Hampton Inns. They also have marvelous bedding! Highly recommended.

  My husband and I stayed at the Hampton Inn for our Anniversary. I must say we will only stay at Hamptons in the future. Very pleasant front desk, wonderful Asst. Manager. She made our stay wonderful. We will be back.

  We stayed in the hotel and were extremely pleased. room was very clean and comfortable. staff very friendly. great breakfast had great variety of things and bedtime snacks were great.
