  I stayed at the Country Inn twice in October , and many times in the past with my work. I think the furnishings in the rooms had a re-vamp recently, but I have not experienced most of the complaints listed in earlier reviews at this hotel. The beds are comfortable with good linens, and the desk/chairs/TV/AC are all of average to above average hotel quality. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The workout room has good cardio equipment. I don't know about the business center because the WIFI is excellent everywhere in the hotel so I use my laptop. I think there is a router on every floor. I travel almost every week and stay in hotels of all stripes. This place is good, I enjoy it. helpful (0) not helpful (0) comment

  From the moment I walked in the doors to the moment I left the hotel the entire stay, 4 nights, was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a pleasant experience. I loved the indoor pool and Hot Tub! I would recommend anyone passing through Amarillo to stay at the Country Inn!

  Very comfortable, restful hotel. The staff was personable and professional. The hotel has a great feel. Our room was very nice with extremely comfortable beds, down pillows, and a great overall feel. Great pool and hottub as well. I recommend this location very highly!

  Traveling thru Amarillo late at night on way home from Vegas...many hotels were sold out. (Stayed at Courtyard on way to Vegas - more pricey but very nice!) Greateful to be able to check into the hotel. Staff, parking and loby nice...expecting nice room as facility looked very new. Upon entering the room was happy to see mini microwave and mini refrigerator. However, after getting luggage set and getting settled in the room, was VERY unhappy with cleanliness of room (Spots on comforter, carpet was dirty, bathroom had hairs and spots on floor, walls and door, ice container and tray super dusty!) Made me wonder how clean the room really was. Needless to say, we slept with t-shirts over our pillows...just in case!!!

  My family stayed here last year and really liked it, but this trip we weren't happy. The worker was nice, but needed help. It took 30 minutes to check us in;the people in front of us were allowed to bring in their dog (which I think is not acceptable to people who are allergic to dogs), the carpets were worn, sheets had tears in them, and we saw bugs in the room. We should have left but we were too tired. We won't stay there again.
