• One of the most enjoyable hotels stays we've ever experienced

  Our stay was absolutely excellent all the way around. Great ambiance in the rooms; very clean, new, lots of rich wood and tile, decorative, several well-placed mirrors; well appointed and equipped (we rented a king suite w/jacuzzi. . .very nice!). The lobby area, pool/hot tub, in-house restaurant (with ""real"" food and bar, a plus; not to mention a 24hr. snack / sandwich / ice cream station next to the front desk for that late-night appetite). All this would have been great by itself, but the service and staff topped it off completely. From X at the front desk who was so accommodating (and re-accommodating as our plans evolved in scheduling a local shuttle ride), to X (the Hotel Mgr himself) who not only helped work the front desk with a smile, opted to shuttle us personally when our timing was out of sync with his regular driver; was very accommodating and friendly, prep'd his front desk staff to call us a late night cab, met us upon entrance to breakfast the next morning, seated us personally, and even poured our coffees as he inquired about the enjoyment of our previous evening out. What a servant's heart! There was a small mix-up with the breakfast tab. The day after we left the Manager a message to kindly review it, he had already reversed the charges completely (where we only really needed an adjustment due to duplicate billing). He comp'd our breakfast as a customer service gesture (which we had not asked for). After working in the airline industry and traveling a great deal; having stayed in many hotels (and ""seen it all"" so-to-speak), we have never had such excellent accommodations and friendly, genuine ""over and above"" service that so far exceeded our expectations. An absolute 10 out 10 !

  The hotel was absolutely full there were teenage boys all over the property yet when i closed the room door we heard absolutely nothing! the desk clerk was extremely busy , ...

  the hotel was absolutely full there were teenage boys all over the property yet when i closed the room door we heard absolutely nothing! the desk clerk was extremely busy , yet very friendly and courteous the rooms were very clean and generously sized(we opted for the suite) bathrooms were clean and well stocked convenient location to a&m and to area restaurants and shopping
