  When we arrived, after I had paid for the room, we learned that the indoor pool and hot tub were out of order. When I indicated that I would need to talk to my family (including 2 kids) to see if we still wanted to stay there given that there would be no pool or hot tub, I was told that I probably couldn't cancel because my card had already been run. Although my kids were disappointed, we decided to go ahead and stay since it was already about 8 p.m. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed in months, and the bedding looked and felt like it was purchased at a garage sale. Breakfast was even better...there was no one monitoring the breakfast to make sure items were replenished and things were kept clean. When we got down to the breakfast room at about 9 a.m., it looked as if a mob of first graders had come through and there was food on the floor and practically nothing left. I will take my $*** elsewhere next time....

• THE WORST HOTEL WE HEVE EVER STAYED IN

  This hotel was awful - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! When we arrived the FIRST night at 10:00, and opened the door to our room, it was a mess. The beds were unmade and there was trash, towels and food everywhere. The manager on duty was not apologetic, and was even rude. It took them 45 minutes, while we waited in the hall with our kids and our luggage, to get it cleaned up. The next morning when we went down to breakfast...another mess. One girl was working the phones,front desk and kitchen by herself. There was no food, and the eating area was a mess. We ended up eating elsewhere. The pool was so dirty that there was black mold all over the inside and in the hot tub. It rubbed off and ruined the suits of some of the guests that were there. When we called Best Western to complain, they basically said they could NO NOTHING because all Best Westerns are individually owned. We got $20 off of total bill...nothing more. We will never stay in a Best Western again!!!
