The Crescent building will be closed for re-tiling from 6/1-6/30/08. This section will be closed off for access beyond the restaurant and bar area. Work will not disturb guests, as all guests are accommodated in other buildings.
The Lady Smith building?s roof will be replaced from 9/1-9/26/08. Work is not expected to disturb guests, as it is mostly cosmetic. At this time, the Banyan building next door will close to re-do the floors. Some noise will occur, especially with the tile work. Guests are encouraged to use the second pool deck during this time.
Southern Palms is a beachfront hotel located approximately 15 minutes from the airport, midway to Bridgetown, the capital.
In addition to the beach, recreational offerings include two freshwater swimming pools, free watersports, a mini-golf course, and two lighted tennis courts. Additional activities are planned daily by the social staff. The open-air restaurant, overlooking the beach, features West Indian and continental cuisine.
All rooms have balconies or patios, air-conditioning, private bathrooms, TVs (local and satellite), telephones, radios, hairdryers, kettles, and rental safes (free safety deposit boxes are available at reception).
