My husband and I attended a conference in Sydney in Nov 2008 and we selected Diamant for the overall appearance and amenities offered which supposedly include a Fitness Center, which we assumed was inhouse. During our 4-day stay there, I was only able to get in the Fitness First facility one time because of the inavailability of passes. On one occassion there was only 1 pass left and both of us wanted to exercise together. There was no attempt by the staff to amend the situation. We found out that the hotel has only 6 passes For a 77-room hotel touting a Fitness Center, to have only 6 passes is an egregrious misrepresentation and a ploy to mislead trusting consumers like ourselves. If this was known to us, we would have booked into the Holiday Day Inn where the fitness center is inhouse.
