We had a fair experience at the Hyatt. The room we stayed in had a good view of the river and had easy access to the patio. The service was good and rooms clean. Our only complaint would be the construction noise during the day from a couple of rooms down from us, the bathtub held water in it for an hour after taking a shower and it took about ten minutes for the water to heat up. Minor issues that won't keep us from a return visit.

Stayed at this for a weekend getaway. We loved the location, decor, and service of the staff of the hotel. The view from our Riverview Room was spectacular. There were huge ships moving up and down the river the entire time we were there. The only negative was the freshness (or lack of) of the fruit and pastries at Perks Coffee shop. However, it did not ruin our stay. This is a hotel where you can feel safe. There was noticeable security in and around the hotel grounds.

The Hyatt Regency in Savannah, GA was a top notch hotel with all the luxuries that one would expect from a Hyatt. It was rather expensive and everything you used was an added expense. Our room was an inside room with the window facing the lobby so we didn't know what the weather was when we woke up, which we didn't like. All the service people were extremely courteous from the front desk clerk to the bellhop. The concierge was helpful in getting directions for us, and it was quite easy to get our car when we needed it. I would recommend this hotel for convenience to historic Savannah, but not if you are on a budget.

Walked ALL of Savannah surrounding the hotel. It was perfect for our needs. Helpful staff every day. Rented a car last 3 days of 7 day stay so paid for parking, but only paid $1 to ride the bus to the rental location then returned it to the airport when we left. Very efficient. Room was spacious, beds and linens very comfortable. Our ""girl's week away"" was made all the more safe and relaxing by the attentive staff and accommodating service.

Supernice hotel. Very security conscious, but I couldn't tell if this was done as a precaution, or if they had had problems. Staff was fantastic. My room had no exterior light, opening into the atrium. This was a little unusual, but I got used to it. Used room service twice, excellent, punctual service. Would definitely stay again.
