Spring Break in Anaheim will always be a challenging stay, but staying at hotel like Del Sol was one thing we had always wanted to do: a hotel across from the main gate. However, I did consult the online travel website reviews on this hotel and was warned about extra charges, but felt it was a good value anyway. However, we didn't see any extra charges at all. And the offer of a free upgrade to the ""honeymoon"" suite with a king bed and a jacuzzi tub, was a surprise. The room was nice, but right next to the morning breakfast room. We old folks were awakened earlier than we wanted to be! The best part was being close to a lot of restaurants, both on the Disney property and off.

Our hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable(surprisingly). The pool is small but very nice, we used it every day. The Hotel Staff were pleasant. I would will stay there again and again. It's just across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland.

Our stay at the Del Sol was good and what I expected - no frills but clean and very conviniently located to the Disney Park entrance. The continental breakfast consisted of two types of cold cereal, orange slices, two types of juice, milk, sweet rolls, toast and coffee. Not a wonderful breakfast but ok for the price and location. Also if you want a full breakfast the hotel is located directly behind Denny's and there is a McDonalds one block away. The hotel staff was friendly. The jacuzzi jets did not work very well but the spa looked clean and the water hot enough to soak in and enjoy. The only thing that I did not like is that when you checkout, on your bill there is an automatic charge for a room safe warranty and resort fee. I wouln't call this place a resort and I did not use the safe. I informed the hotel clerk I did not use the sfe and he removed the fee of $1.00 a day since we used he jacuzzi I didn't request that the fee be reoved ($2.00 and some change per day), I think if I had that charge would have been removed too.
Overall, I have to say I would stay there again...clean, friendly,very convinient 5 minute walk to get into the acutal park not just the park entrance. -

We have stayed at Del Sol twice while in Anaheim. We love how close this hotel is to the walkway into Disneyland. This is a great motel if you are budget conscience. The pool is nice and the rooms are clean. This is a no-frills motel. It has good size rooms, microwaves and refridgerators. We love staying here and would stay here again! Staff is very nice.
