First, the elevator was stinky reeked of mold, the room was ok....the restrooms where horrible, you need to take a bottle of bleach; I had to wear sandals while I stepped in the shower. When i finally got the nerve to take a shower, there was no hot water!!!! I was so upset, the sink by the restroom had really really hot water, but the water coming out of the shower head was not even close to being warm, it was terrible.. The pool and the hot tub where the nicest thing this hotel had to offer

Pull up Google earth and look at the hotel before you stay. It looks just like that and the 18 wheelers are still there. The floor in the room is not level at all and there was mold in the picture that was on the wall, the front door did not seal and had to use my shoulder to get it open and slam it to close it. Bathroom was dirty along with the towels and the tile was cracking and pulling up as you walked on it. The beach was ok but it is worth a 30 min drive to go to Padre Island.

Well the overall experience was not too bad. Room was small for two double beds to be in, at least there was a place to sleep. TV antenna not working causing television to be blurry, supposedly there was a digital satellite dish somewhere on the roof. Maybe the airwaves were on the blink, who knows. Continental breakfast was okay, but make sure you are in the break room on time before the food starts disappearing in front of eyes by hotel workers removing the food and putting it away for the next time. For the price and location for the activities we had planned it did okay. You get what you pay for and I still enjoyed my stay in Corpus Christi.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the beach, the price was good and close to things like the TX State Aquiraium and the USS Lexington. The staff was not friendly, no warm greeting or even a smile either during check in or check out. The rooms were sooo tiny. We had a room with 2 beds and had requested a roll away since we have 3 boys. The room was so small we couldn't even use the roll away and had one of the boys sleep on the floor. We barely fit our suitcases and us in the room. The room was newly decorated and painted. Location was good, short walk to the beach. Overall the experience was OK, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
