We should have found a different hotel as soon as we read the sign in the parking lot stating “Hotel is not responsible for valuables left in vehicles.” Things went downhill from there. We reserved our room over 6 months in advance and requested a crib for our son. When checking in, we asked for a crib. We were told one would be sent up to our room. At 8pm, the crib hadn’t been delivered yet. We asked the front desk why we hadn’t received the crib yet. We were then told no cribs were available, and the hotel only has 2 cribs. We should have never been told one would be sent up. The hotel staff were not courtesy or apologetic. In fact, it seemed like they blamed me for not flying with a Pack and Play (crib) just so I could use it for one night at their hotel. Also, we allowed our son to crawl around and get some exercise on the hotel room floor after a long drive up from the Florida Keys. By the end of the evening, his white socks were black from the room’s dirty floors. Did I also mention that our non-smoking room smelled like smoke? If you are traveling with small children, do not stay at this hotel. I am not a neat freak, but this hotel was too dirty to be letting a little one crawl around.

I hosted a business meeting at the Ramada for 40 people. The property has benn completely refurbished and is a an excellent venue for such events. Afterwards, they catered a luncheon for us and the food and service was excellent. I spent one night there and found the room comfortable and immaculate. I will definately book our next group there, I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel with my husband while doing business and visiting friends in miami. It was an amazing value. The grounds were new, we enjoyed the pool, friendly staff and proximity to everything miami has to offer.The shuttle service from the airport was also very convenient. will definately stay again.
