My husband and I love this hotel we come to Fort Myers Beach every 6 months the rooms are the cleanest I have stayed and and for this reason we will always stay at this hotel every room is Ocean View and the room service is wonderful along with breakfast in the restaurant each morning. This hotel looks like a condo, has no stove a small fridge and microwave but for us when we are on vacation we eat out. I have never seen any bugs in this hotel and the best part is the balcony is screened in so we leave the patio doors open at night while we sleep so we can listen to the ocean and feel the breeze. For fun we always rent a boat at Adventure in Paradise and cruise the ocean for a half a day for $* which we felt is very reasonable and the boats are easy to handle. Parasailing is also fun and shopping at the outlet stores is another of my favorite things to do (not my husbands though) We are getting ready for our 3rd stay and when we booked it was a no brainer same hotel same activities. I recommend this hotel because it is very very clean, every room has a view and the restaurant has great food. The only situation we had was 1 of our keys would not always work but because we had 2 keys it was not big problem for us we would get the other fixed when we were out and about....

We never went to Ft. Myers Beach so I didn't know what to expect. While entering the DiamondHead Beach Resort I thought it was looking a little rundown. Well, let me tell you the room was spectacular! I never expected anything like it! The service was superb. I think the restaurant Chloe's gets a bad rap around town. But I ordered room service once and ate in the restaurant once and was extremely pleased with their food! While in ;times square area you must try SOB's and Yucatan, both excellent. I personally would not go back to Ft. Myers Beach do to the fact that it's, for lack of better words.......dirty. Come on guys....clean it up! Loved the room, food and everybody was so helpful. But the surrounding area, the beach itself was just too dirty for me. All in all the trip served it's purpose. Michigan is having a rainy cold summer so we went to summer.....and we did!

I have never been so satisfied on a vacation than at Diamondhead beach. I was so relaxed and comfortable that I allowed myself to interveiw for a resort timeshare and I purchased a Timeshare property at the resort. I am looking forward to my next summer vacation in my own room/condo at Diamondhead.

We were beyond pleased with everything they had; great beach location, good food, great room and extremely courteous staff. Ft. Myers Beach itself is fabulous and we were never at a loss for things to do! Visit the Times Square area if you can, lots of restaurants and souvenir shopping...hotel is walking distance from pretty much anything you would need and every balcony is screened in for added privacy...pool is warm and view is great...I see people mention the time share presentation; it may sound like a hassle, but worth it. We got a fantastic gift certificate for any service at the hotel and we used it to rent jet skis, plus take some money off of our final room charge...one word of advice: it would be in your best interest to rent a car if you want to see Sanibel or go back into Ft. Myers for anything you may need. I really cannot say enough great things about our stay...we found a GREAT deal on here and we were not disappointed! Can't wait to go back again!

This should be renamed ""the diamondeadheadresort and ripoff hotel. Except to call this a hotel or resort is an insult to the real deal it is a timeshare . From the very beginning we had trouble with the front desk it was obvious they did not know how to handle debit card they put us thru hell telling us most likely we would have to go somewhere else , I refused. They then did telecheck , bingo, we were in the horro hotel. We arrive to our room which the air conditioner was not working. Repair kid read red and yellow buttons making it all seem important, he was back again no air conditoner, they offered to move us but we had unpacked. This time he got it.Hurray we have air, well when on the 12th floor that is some air.The keys never worked ;you had bags of carryout to be stuck outside in the heat. Food spoiled while three sets of keys ,did not work. I WAS ENRAGED. To add insult as I threw the dam keys at them I found out they had taken 500.00 okay that was 2 nights 1 free night but why put a hold on 700.00Our money is lost in cyber space we have called banks and visa. WE are still waiting! , we were woke up by the time share people selling these dumpy suites , we had hang up calls early in the morning. cockroaches were coming inside by the two inch gap between front door and floor. This is no suite, no stove, a miniscule fridge, dishwasher thats it oh a dwarf size coffee maker. The soap were for tiny tims and the shampoo would not wash a ferrert.Oh and the best part they were dredgeing the ocean !Grey waters.
