  This is the first time we have ever travelled with our pet, and I have to compliment this hotel on the compliance. The rooms were especially clean and no evidence of any animal staying there before we brought ours in. The clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful; she was friendly even waving at folks in the pool as she went to help someone unlock their door. The room was very clean and fresh, with the modernly excess (good excess) of throw pillows on the bed. This made it easy to find just the right one to sleep on. And though that part of the city is crazy traffic wise, the hotel was easy to get in and out of. The price was within our budget, no hidden costs for pets (ours was a litterbox trained cat). The comfort was impeccable; that of a high-end hotel. The curtains actually came together in the evening and the room was sleepably dark. AC was up to date and TV was perfect. Our only concern was the pool. It seemed to be very old and in need of redoing, but we were not there to swim, even though it would have been nice. The bugs in the pool were awful also, but that is to be expected in that part of the country. No real complaints there. Folks, this is a DO OVER. Great stay!

  Although the hotel is older, it was being totally renovated. we paid only $63 per night. the manager called and asked if everything was okay. the breakfast was very good ...

  Although the hotel is older, it was being totally renovated. We paid only $63 per night. The manager called and asked if everything was okay. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The motel staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy. My only minor complaint was that the housekeeping staff turned off the air conditioner while we were gone and the room was sweltering when we got back. It took a while to get cool.

  Hotel was more or less clean. location is terrible-not close to anything. lots of dangerous looking types around. hotel is getting up in years and could use better security ...

• Good location, but run down

  All room open to outside. cigarette burns on tub. hotel needs renovation - all furniture and carpet were well-worn. room was not clean. breakfast was ok.
