I came to Montgomery to see family. I stayed at LQ for 2 nights and it was an excellent visit. The room was clean. There were plenty of outlets (this is one of my biggest annoyances as I travel - no outlets to charge cell phone, computer, etc.) LQ had plenty throughout the room. The bed was comfortable. It was decorated beautifully. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with LQ in Montgomery. I highly recommend this hotel - LQ in Montgomery.

I was in Montgomery with my son for a funeral. The room smelled of gasoline(go figure)! There were two holes in the carpet about 8-12 inches across, the microfridge was not there as stated in brochure. When my son and I went to take baths-- the water was BROWN!!! The counter agent had to move us to another room that stunk like gasoline as well but the water wasn't brown! Very terrible experience!!

We chose this LaQuinta because we were traveling with our 2 dogs. When I was quoted a rate of $*, I really figured it must be a fleabag or in a really bad part of town. What a surprise! First, X, was extraordinarily accomodating when we called with car trouble. Nice young man! Not knowing if we could make it, he searched for other pet-friendly hotels in the Birmingham area for us. So glad we made it. We got to meet X in person and were not disappointed, just as friendly in person. Our room was very clean and well-appointed with a microwave and frig. Given that we were right off the interstate, it was relatively quiet. LOTS of restaurants within a one-mile radius. Television offered lots of stations including all the mainstays. I would come to Montgomery again just for the value. Thanks, X and LaQuinta!
