09/21/2009Clean room. friendly staff. good breakfast. water pressure on 6th top floor was very low at 7:30 am. one of the elevators sounded like pieces were falling off.

I got in after midnight after flying all day - this is a good location near SEA airport. Staff very cheerful. Hotel externally was a bit tired, but the property was clean and orderly. Room was great. Faced the airport, but not a lot of noise.

My family and I checked into the hotel at 1 in the morning. The person behind the desk didn't greet me or ask if he could help me but stood there looking at me. I said I was here to check in. He said "well I can't check you in unless I have your last name." I gave it to him. He leafed through papers and pulled out our reservations. He indicated we had a king bed with a roll away. I said we reserved two double beds and a roll away. He said that they can't guarantee you get what you reserve because they have a full hotel. We asked if he was kidding. he wasn't. It was too late to go to another hotel and we were tired. We decided we could "camp" we do it all summer anyway. The elevator to our floor was slow and creaked all the way up. The hallway on the fourth floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke but the the room smelled fine. The woman who brought us our roll away bed and extra linens for those of us sleeping on the floor was very nice and a breath of fresh air. We settled in for the night around 230 am. At 8 the phone woke us up and a woman said they had a room with a double bed available and we could move to it now. We weren't ready and she said that we might lose it if we didn't move now. I called her back and said we could be ready in 15 minutes. She called back 10 minutes later and said it needed to be cleaned and would be ready in an hour. We moved to the room and vowed to never stay at a La Quinta again!

We are in Seattle every other month for a few days. We have stayed in many hotels from discount to top of the line. La Quinta is a great hotel for the price. Don't compare it to a top of the line 200+ hotel, compare it to the same type and I think it can't be beat. Great location, great staff, good breakfast, clen, comfy rooms and all for under $***, why pay more and stay somewhere else. We keep coming back all the time and are very satisfied with the hotel and the service.

stayed overnight before my next flight. The hotel is very near the airport and offer a shuttlebus. Our night was disturbed by a very noisy heater blowing warm air into the rrom. If you turned it off it got very cold in the room. Hotel offers breakfast, but it stops already at 9am, which is extremely early for an airport hotel with guest from other time zones and you and not informed about this. So we got no breakfast arriving the breakfast room at 9.10 am though we had payed for it. So we absolutely will find another hotel next time to have a calm sleep-over.
