The staff in the inn was friendly. Check in was easy and the room was comfortable with the exception of the pillows on both beds. These were terrible! They looked old and very used and extremely thin. I would recommend taking your own pillows or making sure you request good ones when you check out your room. On a very good note, the continental breakfast was EXCELLENT! Lots of great choices of food. We enjoyed it.

We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2009. Very nice hotel for the affordability. Good location for us being close to I-25, because we went to Albuquerque one day for the Balloon Fiesta. I would recommend this hotel. Don't shy away because of the price.

We stayed in Room 231 and when my husband walked into the room, he told me it smelled like smoke. I asked him to call the desk and he was told that there was no smoking in it. However, there were 2 ashtrays in the room and it certainly did smell like smoke. We left the window open and it was very quiet all night so that was not a problem. However, I am very allergic to smoke and started coughing and blowing my nose during the night. That was Monday night, the 5th of October. I am still dealing with a constantly running nose and some coughing. I had to buy Sudafed, the real stuff, which you show an I.D. and sign for. It lets me sleep for about 5 hours before the nose starts stuffing up and/or running. I have a doctor's appointment this Tuesday. I frequently stay at La Quinta hotels and am always pleased. Other than my being sick for a week from the smoky room, it was a clean, comfortable room and nice staff. I might stay there again, but I surely would check the room out first. This has caused me serious grief.
