Nice quiet location
09/08/2009Hotel is off the main drag. food is within walking distance. basic continental breakfast, nothing fancy. a good breakfast is a short walk away. room was clean, quiet, and cool.

I've stayed at other La Quintas around the country and this one was by far the best I've stayed in. Very quiet, clean rooms and the staff could not have been more friendly. The facility is kept up very well and the Galleria area is packed with great restaurants very convenient to the hotel's location.

I can't believe the deal we got here! $49, I thought one night, we can put up with it if its bad. Went overboard on the other hotels for our trip, so I needed inexpensive, and expected the service and cleanliness to suffer because of it. Was I ever wrong! I do not exaggerate when I say this is the nicest hotel I've stayed in. Extremely clean, nice rooms, a larger bathroom than I've seen in hotels before. An outside door opened into a nice little courtyard with the pool. Friendly service. Very impressed and would gladly stay again. Will be referring any friends going to the Dallas area. Only about 20 miles from airport, not a bad drive.

The hotel is a good place to stay for the money. It's in a great location, close to restaurants, Dallas Pkwy, Galleria and the Comedy Improv. Each of our destinations was within 15-25 minutes from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to people on are just looking to getaway for a few days without breaking the bank.

We called early the morning of our stay and were allowed to check in early. The staff was very accommodating! We checked in early so we could get off to Tailgate at the Buffett concert. The ice machine was very generous. My kids were there for check-in but went home afterwards. It passed the kid friendly test! The pool was beautiful and well maintained considering it was still too cold to use and had been raining. That says alot for their pool maintenance! The beds and pillows were REALLY comfortable and the place was nice and quiet. The towels and sheets were SO nice! Everything was clean and nice and I just can't say enough great things about it. It is in a very good location - right off Beltline close to EVERYTHING but off kind of in a little cozy corner w/ trees so you don't feel like you are in the booming metropolis!! It was very relaxing! The Continental breakfast was good too! They have a cool TX shaped waffle maker that ALL the kids were using! If you are looking for a place to crash after a concert or somewhere to hide away after a busy day on the town - THIS is your place!
