Love this place. Right on the beach and near all the fun. Rooms are not huge, but clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Several places to eat, shops, and ice cream all right down the street. Check out the place with the rooftop bar & reggae band.

Only problem is we arrived at the hotel at noon and left our bags with the front desk for four hours. When we picked up our luggage two large pictures I purchased in Charleston were missing and the hotel staff had no idea where they went. Gee, I wonder. I made the front desk agent call the one from earlier that day and she denied ever seeing them. Other than that little incident which will keep me from going back ever again, the hotel is good enough for a beach stay. Had a stand in shower which was kind of nice. A room with two double beds will not be very large at all and the TV is on top of the minifridge and microwave and is hard to see from one bed. Outside the room is basically a main porch with chairs and small tables which are nice. A "partial view" has a pretty good view of the ocean and even though its not a personal balcony you can sit right outside your room and enjoy the ocean breeze and view. A few doors down is a bar and in the other direction a restaurant with a rooftop bar which was nice. I just want my prints back or someone on the staff to fess up to stealing.

Stayed at this dump for 5 days in June, One of the days my room did not get serviced. The rooms are to small. Worst of all I killed (4) roaches in the room during my stay. This place ruined my whole vacation.

During my 5 day stay, one day the room did not get serviced. Did not receive wake up calls. During the week I killed 4 roaches in the room. The rooms are so small you can hardly move around. My whole vacation was ruined by staying here. NEVER AGAIN.

The Hotel was more like a 2 star hotel rather the 3 star as stated on travel website. I am not sure what the rate was because it was a package deal. I never really spoke with the front desk except to ask for more towels. The hotel was busy with spring breakers. The location and views from the hotel were great, right on the beach. We were busy touring Charleston, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, except to sleep and shower. The rooms were small and in need of updating. The beds were comfortable and maid service was ok. I would return again for a bargain.
