my wife and i stayed here in aug of 2009 and had a wonderfull time. the staff was knoweldgeable and friendly. the rooms were renovated in 2006 which made our stay very comfortable in a hotel built in 1968. having read the other reviews i was fully prepared to pay much extra for the convience of the reastaraunt on site and somewhat unhappy to find it closed for dinner (but please with the 10% off in downtown rests.) and the breakfast was included which more thanmade up for the dinner option. on a more personal note i got quite a chuckle to read the only negative review of this quaint little hotel was written by someone who didnt actually stay at the hotel

First the good: 1. View is awesome, really neat 2. Nice roomy well cooled rooms 3. Has High Speed internet but was going in and out during my stay, I used my Verizon 4. Staff is extremely helpful. The first room we had was smoked in and they quickly got us another. Kudos to the night staff. 5. Within easy walking distance, well for some excercise, from town. About a mile or so, Boothill though is just down the bend so to speak. The bad 1. They dont even have Orange Juice for you in the Lobby? Not only did I have to pay quite a bit for it the restaurant attached to the hotel only had a gallon so it was probably gone soon, I got up early. So it is a pretty nice motel, not cheap, that has no breakfast or juice at all in the morning. The restaurant is expensive. If you ate at the BW restaurant with a family of four then you would be paying at least another $30. That makes the hotel not a good deal at all. I would recommend this Hotel but just remember to bring all your breakfast food supplies, they do have a nice small refrigerator, or you will end up spending much more than you planned.

My teenage son and I traveled around New Mexico and Arizona while my daughter visited a friend in Albuquerque. One of our travel highlights was Tombstone. The motel staff was friendly and helpful offering tips and local color. Although a little small, the room was extremely clean, kept that way during our stay, and well appointed. The view from the room window and door of the "garden" and the Dragoon Mts, especially at sunrise, was beautiful. I plan on returning to Tombstone and will definitely stay here again. Although it is outside town on a hill, you can be in town within minutes and the in town accomodations did not seem as nice.

This hotel had all sorts of lovely surprises! The view was spectacular and it's distance from Tombstone is ideal! The staff really seemed to care about us and the accomodations lived up to normal expectations. I will go out of my way to stay here again!
