For the price paid and the great location, it worked out excellent. Staff friendly, rooms were decent;it is a bit older motel catering to the Knotts visitors so a bit of where from all the youngsters;. Pool was fine, jacuzzi was fine, contintental breakfast was a bit lacking. Parking was a little bit crowed, but could always find an open spot somewhere. Walking distance to Knotts was great, so adults could come and go and kids could stay at park (have to cross a busy intersection, so this is for teenagers only to do alone.

You just can't do better for a Knott's motel location (10 minutes walking), we left there this morning after a two day stay and the first thing I wanted to do is recommend ROADWAY-BUEAN PARK, it's an older motel but well maintained, clean and secure. Restaurants and fast food minutes away, I-Hop and Subway are next door, Claim Jummpers and McDonnalds accross the street and my favorite family reataurant Po-Folks two blocks up the street, right acorss fron MidEvil Times and the Pirates Dinner Show' we've done them both, GREAT SHOWS!,

The price was quite low. The staff were cordial and professional. The room had a kitchenette in good repair. The water was hot and the bed was clean. The room appeared to have had some hard use in the past; repaired doorjamb, cracked bathroom door, and a slightly musty odor. It was a clean and comfortable stay for the price.

We stayed here 4 nights. Rooms were clean, bathrooms had been remodeled and staff was very helpful. We could walk to Knott's which saved us parking $$. It is a great hotel for the money!! Has nice, clean pool, grills, coin laundry, and having a fridge and micro. was also convenient. We'll definately stay here again and would recommend it highly for the budgeted family travelers!!
