I have to say I was concerned about staying in that area of NJ but if you have to stay there stay at this Crowne Plaza. It was very nice they have free WIFI in all the rooms, an indoor pool and nice work out room.The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. There is secure parking and a great view of the NY city sky line. We where going to Liberty State Park the next day and it was a quick drive from the hotel. If you have kids and they enjoy watching the plans landing and taking off they will like the view of the airport runways. The Crowne Plaza is right next to the airport and yet very quiet inside for being so close. Overall it was a great stay we where on our way back from DC where we had spent ***.** night to stay at a hotel just as nice as this Crowne Plaza. It had all we were looking for at a great price. The only thing that was just ok was the restaurant it was ok for dinner and offer a breakfast buffet or menu in the morning. It was nice to not to have to leave the hotel for dinner or breakfast but it could have been better. Overall the restaurant was a good value and very friendly staff. Room service was also affordable here compared to the hotel in DC anyways.

My Husband and son stayed here in November to do Christmas shopping in the city...it was so convenient to take the airport shuttle over to the airport & get on the train that took us to Penn Station. I would highly recommend!! However the 2nd night we were there the fire alarm went off because the night auditor burned popcorn in the microwave oven. We were evacuated from the hotel for nearly 1 hour in the freezing cold. I am greatful that the alarm system worked, however not happy that the management did not even apologize for the inconvenience (or lack of sleep). The accommodations were nice, but the staff could have been much nicer (restaurant & front desk). However the shuttle driver was excellent! I would stay again if I did not have any other option.

The overall stay was good, I did have a few minor concerns, the heater made a noise when you turned it on, and the room phone did not work, but since I was using the room only to sleep it was not an issue. Once I mention to the staff at check out they seemed more than willing to fix the problems. On a real high positive they fitness facility upkeep was good and the hotel was neat and clean. Definitely a great value for your money. Will proabably stay again.

I went down to NJ for some interviews, and booked this hotel as a package deal. It was a great value, and and excellent hotel. Very clean rooms, the staff were very helpful, and the food there was great. However this hotel is very hard to get to especially if you are not from the area like I was. Other than that, is was a great find.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Neward and took the Path train into NYC for $1.75 each. I was great. We never had to drive in the city traffic and we stayed for $**ish dollars insteas of $**. The bed was king-sized and VERY cormfortable and the hotel has 42 inch plasmas in every room. We certainly will stay here the next time we go to the city.
