My job put me up here; otherwise I never would have stayed at this place. Outdated and tacky rooms. Front desk staff rarely answered the phone. Wireless internet rarely worked. Continental breakfast lacking. The only good thing I can say is that the room was clean.

We've stayed at several Red Roof Inns this summer as we've traveled. I chose this one because I knew they allowed small pets. The room was decent, but very hot and humid when we checked in at 10pm. The room felt damp and cold all night and you never felt comfortable. The bathrooms are VERY Small and the "high speed" internet was pathetic. I could barely connect and when I did, the signal was so weak, I kept getting messages that webpages wouldn't display properly.

Even with a prepaid room, the air conditioning was not turned on until we turned it on ourselves at 10:00 at nite. It is August and VERY HOT and HUMID in this part of the country and the room never cooled off enough to provide comfort and rest. Bed was very uncomfortable. The whole idea of this stay was to REST for the nite to continue on with trip refreshed in the morning. Not possible at this motel. Simply having a staff member turn on air earlier in the day would have solved this problem. Also, remote control for TV did not work, staff tried 3 different ones and never provided one that worked. Seems like a small thing but small things can mean a lot when you are tired from travelling.

Reasonably priced. No extra charge for pets. great continental breakfast featuring variety of gourmet coffee. Rooms clean, had a slight musty smell but I think that is because it allows pets. Definitely a place to stay for pet owners. security doors to enter from parking but none from the courtyard. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff very attentive and friendly.
