  I found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful . They provided me with directions and a map so I could get around town and also go to the Indiana Dunes. As a woman traveling alone, I felt quite save there. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

  The room smelled and was very primitive. no amenities to speak of. there was a nylon left on the floor from a previous visitor. bathroom was tiny and toilet wouldn' ...

  The room smelled and was very primitive. No amenities to speak of. There was a nylon left on the floor from a previous visitor. Bathroom was tiny and toilet wouldn't stop running. Rooms exit to outdoors. Not a safe feeling as the area was not well lit. Front desk staff were professional and nice with nice maps of the area. Definitely will not stay in another Red Rood Inn again.

  if you're looking for a basic, clean room this fits the bill. Bring your own hair dryer and iron. The staff was pleasant and the hot beverage machine in the lobby was a bonus.

  We stayed 1 night. Room was basic, but clean. Bathroom is very small, but functional and clean. ?Nightlight? by light switch in bathroom was a nice surprise. Not-so-nice surprise was the lack of hair dryer in the room. Was able to get one from the front desk. In-room refrigerator/microwave was a plus. Small cosmetic complaint - wallpaper was peeling in one place. Front desk had nice map of area restaurants, shopping, etc. Some restaurants close enough to walk to. Staff was friendly. Overall assessment - positive experience.
