  The hotel looks like a dump and is in desperate need of remodeling. It used to be a Super 8, so everything still has that name on it. The carpet looked new, but everything else needs work. The wallpaper is peeling off, there were patched holes in our wall, the lighting was terrible and it was difficult to get into the parking lot IMO. It's right next to I24 and the airport, so if you can't sleep with noise, don't stay here. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the bed was comfortable, but housekeeping came by WAY too early. Our room was across the hall from the housekeepers office, so that may be why. There was also no coffeepot or alarm clock like they said there would be. They also lacked shampoo & such, but at $ a night, what do you expect? This is also where Yellow puts up their truck drivers, so there are a lot of them around...which means the complementary breakfast is wiped out by 8am. When I first got here, I was very uneasy due to the appearance, and the security isn't that great--the "secured" doors were propped most of the time, but we had no major problems staying here. Honestly, my only complaints are that the pool was still covered/closed and it was 98 outside all week, there were planes flying over all the time, you have to request extra towels every day, and the lot is hard to get into. It was ok, but I'd only stay here again if everywhere else was booked.
