We stayed from 11/26/09 to 11/29/09 in a GO room. It was beautiful and super clean with a fantastic view. (22nd floor) The hotel was clean and staff wonderful. The check in took longer than expected but she gave us the great room with no problem once we got to the counter. We did request an extra blanket and it got to the room before we did!! How is that for service? We got a discount in the gift shop and everyone we met during our stay was courteous, attentive and very friendly. I have stayed at the Flamingo 4 previous times but this was the best. Can't say enough about that room. The TV in the mirror in the bathroom was very enjoyable.The bed was a dream! Can't wait to go again! Viva Las Vegas!! Viva Flamingo!!!!

I went to the dinner buffet for a juicy cut of rare/meduim rare prime rib and for a little seafood after a heavy gambling at the slots and on the tables. I went to get a cut of RARE prime rib and the SERVER TOLD ME HE DOESN'T HAVE IT, ONLY WELL-DONE!!! He have one block of uncut rib roast in front of him, but I guess he wants to finish serving the small portion which was all well-done. Have I not eaten some salad and seafood, I definitely leave and get my money back. Never had I experienced this in any casino buffet and i was shocked that it is happening in FLAMINGO.

The Flamingo Las Vegas is situated right in front of Caesars Palace. Get a room facing the strip, you will not be disappointed. When hungry try The Burger Joint, they have a great selection. The buffet is pretty good too and it over looks the habitat of flamingoes. The price is right and I will DEFINATELY stay here again.

Enjoyed the location of the Flamingo the best! If you are looking for "Old School Vegas", then this is the perfect hotel. Flashing lights, casino open to the street, casual atmosphere...perfect! If you want high-end, modern amenities then you should stay at another property. Our group of 6 adults found this to be the right choice for what we wanted to accomplish on our trip. The rooms are a bit dated and the bathrooms could use new vanities & wallpaper (not damaged, just looked old) but for a place to sleep with clean sheets and a clean room...you couldn't ask for anything more!

We stay at the Flamingo 4 to 5 times a year. I always spend the extra thirty dollars and upgrade to a GO Room. These rooms are beautiful and very comparable to a 5 star hotel. I understand from others that I have spoken with that the deluxe rooms are not very nice. If you are on Facebook become a fan of the Flamingo and they are always overing deals. We are staying November 15-19, 2009 and the hotel stay, in a GO Room, is less than two tickets to a Cirque show. We have stayed at several hotels in the last few years and we keep going back to the Flamingo. The location is excellent, the pool is comparable to a pool we usually see in the caribbean and we love Margaritaville. If you can get a great deal on this hotel, book the room and upgrade at check-in. You won't regret it. (I'm a hard person to please when it comes to hotel room comfort and I love it.)
