DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
08/10/2009We stayed in this hotel because i paid a night about less than the omni hotel across the street which is a 4 star hotel, so , i figured this one ...
We stayed in this hotel because i paid a night about less than the omni hotel across the street which is a 4 star hotel, so , i figured this one wasn't going to be so bad. when we came in and parked in the garage it was smelly and it looked dangerous. once we went inside the place looked really old and disgusting. when we got our room and opened the door it smelled like mildew and dirty sheets. we checked the sheets to make sure they were clean, and thank god! we did because the sheet had a HUGE STAIN. this Place was a NIGHT MARE, it was Disgusting and the fire alarms went off and disturbed everyone. Travel on line should do more research on the hotels they promote and work with because it makes them look bad. when i tried to get a refund for my disgusting room cause i was not planing to sleep on a dirty bed, the Hotel refused.

The absolute worst!!Mildew,smelly dirty rooms,uncaring staff,roaches,parking areas smells of urine appearance reminds me of the haunted house,holes all over the place,broken door handles no mirrors in the rooms. I just could not find any pleasant about this hotel and all other hotels were booked so I was stuck. I was completely discussed.

My family reunion reserved a block of 20 rooms one year in advance for 4July09 weekend-we were assured renovations would be completed before our arrival. They were not. Here are some of the problems we experienced: Smelly, moldy, rooms; broken furniture in rooms; no hotwater; missing door knobs; rude staff; elevator has a mind of its own (scary!). One family member took a picture of a dead roach and showed me both the roach and picture. My 10th floor room, in spots, felt as if I was going to go thru the floor (I could feel the beams beneath my feet)-And I had the best room of all!!! If you complain, they will tell you they have brand new suites. However, these suites are 3x the normal room price. I quickly got used to seeing upset customers when I'd pass thru the lobby. On 3 different occassions, we witnessed customers being told that their online bookings were no good as the hotel doesnt recognize these as valid bookings. They did offer these customers a $* per nite suite though. Take advantage of their suggestion to see the room before you sign the non-refundable agreement. One family member was offered the new suites. When they went in, they turned on water and it spewed across the room. My shower and tub water would only run simultaneaously. When I tried to adjust the shower head, it almost fell into my hand. There is standing water on each garage level. Oh, renovations are going on until a year from now according to staff. Our problems were not due to normal renovation inconviences. Our problems were because the hotel is very run down and the existing rooms are in such poor condition. Wifi hotspot works well though.
