The hotel is a little pricey but not a bad hotel. There is no indoor pool, and you need to pay extra to go to the indoor water park. There is an indoor pool we could use at their sister hotel, but it was too much hassle to bring all your stuff to go use a pool a mile down the street. The hallways also smelled a little musty. The room was nice and great views of the Mtns. Only 10 min to Storyland. (The main reason for being there) The outdoor pool was heated and very clean. Probably won't stay again because of the price but thats the only reason.

The below statement says pretty much all you need to know about how this establishment treats guests ...."If we may suggest in the future, any guest wanting the clearest description of rates and packages should contact either our Reservations Center (our "800" number) or the Hotel - directly." This was a direct quote from the hotel manager on the trip advisor website. And it was made within the last two weeks. I wish I'd read the reviews for this hotel before I made my reservation. If I had I would NEVER stayed at this place. I unforutnaley made my reservation on their website. NO-WHERE on the website does it say theat the indoor pool costs extra. The staff knows it is confusing and they still have done NOTHING about it. All you have to do is read other reviews and you can see that there is plenty of confusion about the rates concerning the pool. In addition, I DID call the hotel directly. I originally used the website to make my reservation, but called the hotel to make a change to our dates. They were very happy to inform me that my rate jumperd from per night to per night. They never said a word about the additional cost for the indoor pool. When I checked in they informed me that the rate for the pool would be an additional per day for a family of four. per day to stay and use the pool??????????? Every customer access or sales point should make it PERFECTLY what the rate is otherwise it is called deceptive marketing. We stayed in a townhouse. The second we walked in, we could smell the mold in the carpeting. The floor in the kitchen area was filthy.

This was a trip that I wanted to Mother's Day. (Go figure.) We ended up going the weekend after Mother's day with my 1, 4 and 9 year old and had a phenomenal weekend. The indoor waterpark was awesome. Even my husband enjoyed it. We did not eat at the hotel as it seemed a bit pricey but the breakfast buffet looked GREAT! The rooms were neat and clean and my two oldest loved having a ""loft"" all to themselves. It is central to everything in the Conway area. I agree that the lobby and main areas are a bit outdated. The staff was friendly. Lifeguards were a bit unfriendly but they were paying attention which is probably more imporant than being overly nice to the children. Overall, we would head back here again. For older kids, you may find that it they are a little ""bored"" by the indoor waterpark as an all day event but it's a great place for after shopping or skiing for the day.

What a great experience we had here! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The water park was a hit with my three children (ages 3, 6 and 11). Two of my children have severe food allergies- the head chef- and entire staff were incredibly knowledgeable and aware. They even had a peanut free kitchen! The room was clean and the view from the deck was lovely. I cant express again how incredible the front desk staff and restaurant staff were! The spa services weren't as great- probably the only down side to an otherwise great experience.

After reading both of the previous reviews I was a little conflicted, but decided to check it out. I can understand where the first reviewer was coming from, initially. The lobby was dated and the ceiling was leaking. Being near the pool there was a musty odor. Beyond that everything was great. The room was big and recently renovated. The bathroom was clean with ample hot water and pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining was great, breakfast buffet fantastic. They apparently have dinner theme nights as well. The mountain views fantastic. The new pool/waterpark area (the reason my family went up there) was the best. It is smaller than some we have travelled to however, it is only open to hotel guests. It was never over crowded. There were ample safety/lifeguards there. Overall we had a great getaway! A much needed break from our winter routine!!!
