I booked this hotel after a very recent stay at the La Quinta just across the street. Good points: The staff was polite and helpful. I lived in this area for 3 years, and believe me, attitude of locals in NM is almost always an issue. So anytime someone in this area is polite and helpful to visitors it's a good point. The hotel was in good condition, clean and well kept. The Breakfast was kept well stocked, variety was OK. Bad points: NOISY! We were on the lower floor and we could hear the people in the room above us, children running up and down the hallway upstairs, people moving through the hallway outside our room, doors slamming, and I was even awakened in the middle of the night by snoring from the room next to us! The door to our room was not hung right and even though it closed completely and locked, you could see light from the hallway along the lower edge and bottom of the door, gaps up to 1/2 inch wide. We could often hear car traffic, especially loud stereos, The access from Cerrillos Rd is marginal at best. If you are approaching from the south Albuquerque ; it is an easy right hand turn, but if you are coming from the north, you have to go past the hotel and make a U-turn and come back. The parking lot has difficult access. Our second night there, we came back very late to find that there was only one VERY narrow space left due to a guest that had an SUV with a trailer that took up 5 parking spaces. We will be booking somewhere else on our next trip to Santa Fe.

04/22/2009I enjoyed the stay here....the pool and jacuzzi were great. the hotel was quiet and clean. free wi-fi in the rooms were a nice touch! no problems here!

This hotel promised free wireless internet in the rooms, but this service wasn't available. I spent forever on hold (twice) with the tech support, and they finally admitted that there was nothing they could do. They have one computer in the lobby, but it was always occupied when I needed it. I run an online business, so I only choose hotels with wireless internet in the rooms - because I need regular access. On the morning of my last day, I also noticed many tiny spots on one of the bed sheets that looked like dried blood stains. They most certainly didn't come from me. I complained about the lack of internet, and also noted the tiny stains on the sheets, but the manager sent me a letter telling me that I was wrong about the sheets (and didn't address the internet issue). At one point or another, I've stayed at just about every hotel on Cerrillos Road, but this one is the biggest disappointment.

ROOM: It is about 4' too small for an handicapped room. We had to keep moving the wheelchair. Hang the TV. It was just like the photos show. FOOD: The continental breakfast was adequate. Included eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, drinks. POOL: Warm enough, big enough to swim laps. Clean. STAFF: went out of their way to help us find a place to eat dinner.

This hotel is ""underneath"" dirty. I dropped something between the bed and night stand and was creeped out by the dirt and hair. The sheets were stained and the bathroom shower did not work.When I tried to tell the manager about the shower and sheets as we were checking out, she got extremely nasty and made a bad situation worse. We were so tired by the time we arrived that we just collapsed and what a disappointment when we woke up the next morning.My advice, stay somewhere else if possible.
