I been going to Myrtle Beach annually for my entire life. When we saw a deal for the off-season, we decided to take advantage of it because we love all that Broadway at the beach has to offer. Unfortunately, the only good thing about this Hampton is the breakfast & common area. We were given a non-smoking room, as requested, but someone had smoked in it previous to our arrival. It was on the bottom floor & it was musty-I am guessing from the indoor pool. We asked for another room, but they were all booked up. Even with the air purifier, we were all coughing each morning. We even decided to leave a day early & we didn't get reimbursement. I was so upset about the condition of the room, that I went to website upon returning home to express my displeasure. There, I learned of a 100% satisfaction program or your money back. Even after they received my response, Hampton did nothing. You can get a room just about anywhere in Myrtle Beach for the same price-and ocean front. Forget this place & just visit the nearby shops.

Staying at this hotel was an excellent experience! The front desk was beyond friendly. When we made our reservation, the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave us until 6pm the day of check-in to cancel. When we checked in the next day, our room wasn't ready, so the girl at the front desk upgraded us to a larger room at no extra charge. She remembered my husband and me from the night before, and wanted to make sure we had a better experience there than where we had stayed the night before. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were ridiculously comfortable, the linens were really soft, and if we were staying for several days we could have stocked the fridge and used the microwave. We enjoyed being walking distance to Broadway at the Beach. We would definitely stay here again the next time we go to Myrtle Beach. By the way, there's an indoor AND an outdoor pool, so bring your suit, even in the off-season.

This was the best place we have ever stayed. It was very clean and in an excellent location. I recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Myrtle Beach area (not on the beach).

Nice hotel, great breakfast, convenient location to Broadway at the Beach. No non-smoking rooms avail - room smelled bad. 1st floor is very noisy becaue of tile floors. Adequate room but bathroom tiles around the tub were pretty nasty and needed a scrubbing. It is still a nice hotel but is getting to be right on the verge of needing some work in the rooms. Beds were comfy but pillows weren't (take your own). I thought it was a little pricy for it's location.
