Not as advertised- No haridryer, no free paper, no room service. Rooms are in separate buildings connected by concrete walkways- so to get the free breakfast, use the fitness equipment, convenience store or have dinner you must bundle up in your winter gear, walk CAREFULLY along the walkways (they freeze very fast) and take your chances! When you use the remote in the living area, the TV in the bedroom also responds- had me puzzled for a while. Ice maker is noisy even when turned off. No ice machine in the hotel so you have to wait for the in-room version to make ice. The trash was not emptied and the tub anti-fall strips were filthy looking. Room was just dingy looking. Not worth the price.

Not the best experience! We arrived for our DC vacation to find they had us booked into a room with 1 king bed and sofa bed.. we had confirmation from Travelocity for 2 Dbl. beds and sofa bed with full kitchen. Family of 4 is hard to fit in 1 bed. We complained and were given another room w/ 2 Dbls, Next to the noisyfreeway and it smelled like an ashtray. We complained and were given a 3rd room. ( BTW, I was told by the front desk that this is a Non-Smoking Facility...Not True) This time, nice location, 2 Dbl beds, but no stove. They said they would have a full kitchen rm available on Thursday. We arrived on Monday, so we had to cook in a microwave for 3 days. When we finally got the room we paid for, it was nice. So somewhere between Hotel and Travelocity, there was a breakdown. Beside that, it is at the end of the DC Metrirail line and not very convenient unless you have a car. We didn't. The Hotel claims the provide shuttle service, and they do, but not on weekends. They don't mention that on their website. If I had to do it over again, I would not stay this far away from DC just to save a few bucks on the hotel. The manager was very kind and professional and did come through with the new room, however, the young lady that booked us in was downright rude from the minute we walked in. She clearly hates her job.... I would not stay here again

We went to DC as a family of four vacation. It's about a 45 minute metro ride from the hotel to the Smithsonians but it's much better than fighting traffic by far. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Their were pots, pans, a stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and dvd player in the room. We brought food and used it all. The continental breakfast was vast and very good! There was mold in the bathtub but other than that our stay was perfect!

I liked the suite rooms which were comfortable and large. It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the complementary hot breakfast. Pool was nice and service was good as well. My only complaint would be the mattresses in our room. Very uncomfortable - hard and unlevel. I ended up sleeping on the fold-out couch 3 nights out of 4.
