The room was barely livable from the start, dirty, smelly, and broken down(the ceiling leaked into one of the beds) but, to make matters worse we took or family w/ 3 small children during ""senior week"" so there was loud music ,horn honking, and people screaming obscenities outside of our room till 5A.M. Needless to say, we did not stay the second of our 2 reserved nights. The only bright point was the front desk staff was helpful ,they discounted our 1st night by 50% even though we still had to pay for the unused second night >:(

While the view of the ocean was lovely, that was about it. I stayed 4 nights, my room was cleaned up once. The picture of the pool looks indoor, don't be fooled, there is just an overhead cover, the other sides are completely open. The staff was friendly enough, but seemed unprofessional, especially at checkout when the desk clerk was on his cell phone the entire process, or when we would stop in to beg for towels because the maid didn't clean our room again and the attendant was sitting on the couch in the lobby watching tv. I would only stay here if you are planning to be out of the room every day by dawn and back at midnight.

We checked in to the hotel on August 18, 2008. We rented an a room with a kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the street and a glimpse of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and professional at all times. We enjoyed the breakfast the hotel provided for us. The hotel was centrally located which made getting to the attractions easier. We stayed in Myrtle Beach during Hurricane Faye. Although Faye never reached us. The ocean was rough because of the rip tides. So, the beach patrol closed the beach for swimming for two days. We were disappointed but understood their decision. There was so much more to see and do. We went to the aquarium, shopped the beach shops and enjoyed other sight seeing events. We had planned to check out on August 22, 2008, but decided to stay an extra day. Our room was already so, we ended renting a suite. The suite was also clean and comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say, is the hotel should inventory the kitchen supplies, such as silverware, cooking utensils, plates, bowls and the like. Most people don't bring those kind of things with them. We loved the staff and the hotel. We plan to make Quality Inn our hotel of choice when we visit Myrtle Beach!!!

This hotel definitely needs a face lift. We made reservations for the week but only stayed one night due to the room we were in being infested with roaches, not palmetto bugs, but ROACHES. When we told the front desk staff the next morning that we wanted to leave she acted like it was no big deal to have roaches in your room, we got out of the reservation but still had to pay for the night we stayed there. The parking was horrible and the whole hotel stunk like urine. The paint on the door of our room was coming off in huge patches. Trash was just laying around the hallways. There was little to no lighting in the hallway or parking area
