Convenient to bridge....acceptable but not ""fancy"".... clean room, quiet for sleeping......handicapped bathroom, also the closet......granite basin propped up with 2 X 4.....no COLD water as both faucets ran hot! Friendly staff, restaurant on premisis, garden/courtyard in center....has been maintained but not modernized....an inexpensive choice when visiting Charleston.

We stayed there in July. Hotel is in a great location easy to get to Patriots Point and to Downtown Charleston. we stayed for 7 days. Everyone from maintance to maids were eager to help. Forth of July fireworks were great at Patriots Point hotel was within walking distance. Rooms were clean beds were great. We have stayed in Downtown Days Inn and we think this one is better because of LOCATION and PRICE. We have stayed here before and will stay here again!!!

Front desk was friendly. Walked in to a roach on the wall.. Found several hairs in the sheets and on the shower walls.. Bed was very uncomfortable. At 8:30 AM there was no hot water to shower with. Even for the price, would not stay here again. I was grossed out the whole time.

Thi was terrible. We stated n booking we had to have a groud floor and were given a scond floor. The poo was closed. The closest resturant was The Huddle House and the cook and the watress were fighting so that was interesting. They finally called the manager i to sraighten them up. A lot of shouting and mal was wrong---but you got a 10% discount. We never ate there again. When I went to check out they were o busy talking to oneanoter had to wait, and wait jsut to check-out. Never on chek in or out a thank you , come again or etc. The hall was dark and you had to jog pas the pop machine and washer and dryer to get to your room. Quite the experience.

Got there at midnight, I am a female traveling alone, the clerk makes me stand outside (locked out of the lobby) and talk through a window. She is very rude and not helpful. I take my card key to my room and it doesn't work 2 different times. She finally comes and helps me open it grudgingly, then throws the key on the bed.
The room was OK, but the sink was clogged and the shower only had barely lukewarm water. Also it had outside entrances to the rooms, but it did not say that anywhere in the descriptions. Very yuck, I would not stay there again.
