we went up to suprise our son in the Navy and we had a great time staying at the hotel. The indoor pool was great for the kids, and the jacuzzi was wonderful for the adults. We had very clean rooms, fresh linens and the breakfast was a full buffet with cheese omletes. The staff was very accomodating and they even put in a new 32" flat screen TV while we were there. Look forward to staying again!

My husband had business in Norfolk at the Naval Base and we unfortunately, stayed at the Hampton Inn. I stayed at the hotel while my husband would go to the base every day. Since I was on vacation, I wanted to sleep in and enjoy some much-needed rest. Well the CLEANING STAFF certainly made that impossible. Our room was on the first floor and when they came in at 8:30 am, the CLEANING STAFF promptly began to yell at one another up and down the hall for several hours. I was awakened by all of the noise and could not rest at all. It was as if they were at a party yelling and talking at the top of their voices. It was very rude. I stuck my head out several times and asked them to keep it down. They just glared at me and continued the party. Come on, I came to a hotel to sleep not listen to their gossip all morning. I reported this to the manager and expected a little better the next morning. No way was that going to happen. They were even worse and at one point they came and knocked on my door even though I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign out. They did it just to tick me off and it really did. The next morning, while my husband was still there, they called on our phone in the room and hung up. This went on several times and I could not believe the audacity or stupidity of the CLEANING STAFF to actually play such childish games. I hope you NEVER stay at this hotel if you want to get any rest, because they certainly are more concerned about having a good time and not the customers satisfaction. To top it off the Management did not seem to care and did not really address the problem at all.

Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean room except for alittle bit of mold on the bathtub tile. Excellent continental breakfast and internet service in the lobby. Visiting my son, who is in the Navy and we haven't seen each other in three years. The hotel was home away from home without worries. Hotel is located just a few minutes to the base and about 25 minutes to Virgina Beach. Will stay there again if the need arises.

We only stayed here for one night while moving our son to Norfolk...we found this hotel to be amazingly clean, the staff exceptionally friendly and the complimentary breakfast fantastic! There are many choices for dinner around you once you check in and very convenient to the base if you need to be close. We will definitely stay here again when we go back.
