I had an 11 hour layover, and I really didn't want to stay at the airport for that long. I called all of the hotels that were in the airport area, and the Pacific Marina was the cheapest. They picked me up within 15 minutes, check in was a breeze, and soon after that, I was in dreamland! The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was small, but very clean, and the best part, is the FREE shuttle is 24 hours a day! Needless to say, it was perfect for one night!!

Front desk friendly: I give it a 5 from 1-10, I did not get a good feeling from staff. No room service, and standards did not meet price. They charge you upfront becuase they know what you are getting in to. Spiders and Lizards in room--not good experience..You can stay at a nice hotel in Wakiki for 20-30 more buck per night--trust me its worth it. If you are going to Hawaii for an unforgetable vacation stay away from this place, its located in a bad area--like I said, spend a couple of more bucks and enjoy your stay..Oh yeah, noise outside did not let me sleep during the day.

This hotel is located behind a gas station on a side street in the Airport Industrial District of Honolulu. It is surrounded by warehouses and machinery shops. This is not a beach front hotel, and it's really not even a hotel it's a motel. Waikiki beach is about a 20 minute drive from this motel. The rooms are exceptionally small. I've stayed in the double a few times and it consisted of two poorly constructed twin beds in a 12x12 room with a small bathroom. There is a TV in the room but not much of a window view.

This place is a dump! My company made me stay here for business. I told them if I had to stay again I would not come back to Hawaii. The hotel has no elevators so if you're on the third floor, you have to climb steps every time to get to your room. The room is so small, it's like a shoe box. Can't watch TV from the bed because it's bolted to a short cart on the floor. You hit your head on the bathroom cabnet while washing your face and the shower runs hot and cold. Plus, this hotel is in a very seedy neighborhood. Very unsafe for women and children. If you're going to Hawaii, spend the extra money and stay at a decent place. The Best Western is not that much more expensive but MUCH nicer (and safer).
