Date of Stay: July 18, 2009 Upon arrival the desk was being staffed by one person and things were busy. He was trying his best but should have had help. My reservation was made through Travelocity and I had a confirmation number. Upon my arrival I was not in the hotel system so there was no room. I showed them my print out with the confirmation number but I was still not in their system for a room. Through coaxing I was allowed to "have the last room". The room itself was fine but with the AC not working properly it made for a very warm and humid night. Not good for the triple didgit heat of Corpus Christi, TX. Two things will not happen again. I will not use Travelocity and I will not stay at the Plaza Inn.

I will be returning every time I'm in town. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a friendly place with a helpful staff. The free breakfast was a great way to start out my day with eggs, sausage, and bisquits. Upon returning from a long day of exploring the free drnks and hotdogs topped off the evening.
